Here she is, one of the two cutest girls on the planet! Kara is doing great. She has already peed on here Dad twice...haha...way to go Kara! I had to do a side by side of her and Jenna when she was born because the are identical to each other. Can't wait to give her a hug!

Well this is my newest little niece, Kara Brooke Phillips. She came into the world at about 12:40 p.m. today, March 20th. She weighs 5 lbs. 8 oun. and is 19 1/2 inches long. She and her mom, Kate, are doing very well. I will have a lot more pictures later when I can actually hold and touch her, but for now, just the good ole' through the window shots!
Okay...so a lot of photographers have been debating between Raw and JPegs! So...I thought I would give my 2 cents!! I shoot Raw. Basically, that is how I learned to shoot and it works for me. Sometimes I capture an amazing image that is underexposed and I love that I can save it in CR! These are a few shots that I though could show how you can alter an image first in Camera Raw then take it a little further in Photoshop. Let me know your opinions and advice. 
Man....what more can I say! I think these pictures speak for themselves. The three girls definitely love each other and are all so beautiful! The is Jamie and her two little girls, Makayla and Cassidy! Jamie just so happens to be one of my best friends from high school. We just got back in touch about a year ago when I finally jumped into the myspace world. I am so glad I did. I have caught up with so many great friends. I have been dying to take pictures of Jamie and her girls for a while now, and I did it. They are the very first family for me to photograph for my Project 356. Project 356, for those of you who don't know, is the newest addition to SB Design & Photography. I decided to create a portion of my business for giving back. I will have more about it on my website in the next few days, so check it out soon!
This is Meghan & Kevin. I shot their engagement session this past Sunday morning. We originally had the shoot scheduled for Saturday afternoon and thankfully rescheduled, the wind was terrible! Sunday morning was beautiful and the photos turned out great. I hope you enjoy them guys and leave a comment, tell me what you think!
I photographed Lori & Jason this evening and I had a great time. They were so easy to get along with and really relaxed in front of the camera...it doens't hurt that Lori is gorgeous either! Thank you guys for toughin' it out in the cold. As soon as I clicked the shutter for the final time it started to sprinkle....perfect timing! Lori is the current Miss Lubbock so we did a few headshots for her as well. She will be giving up her crown this March. I hope you enjoy your photos, I will have your gallery up shortly!
The river walk was so fun!
Hey everyone!! I'm back!! I had so much fun the past few weekends. I have been to Houston, Austin and San Antonio the past three weekends! Man....that's some traveling. But, that is all for now. I am home for a while. I have so much to post but it is late and I am going to bed. I am leaving you with a few pictures I took in San Antonio this weekend. A fellow photographer from Abiliene, Lauren Zaffos, just happen to be in town with her husband as well so we met up on Friday and walked the river walk and downtown area just hunting for things to digitally capture! I had so much fun getting to know you Lauren, and can't wait to hang out agian! Later that night John and I went back to the river walk and the Alamo. More to come....I'm tired!
